Graffiti on a City sidewalk ArchivedUpper Madison Ave North York, Toronto, Ontario, M2N, CAN - TorontoThe sidewalk on Yonge Street [west side] between Upper Madison Avenue north of Spring Garden and Upper Madison Avenue south of Spring Garden is impossible to use mobility scooter or electric wheelchair on comfortably or safely. It is so uneven and patched up that almost every three feet one is either bumped up or down or in an asphalt patch or where the seam has been ground to create a slope to ride from one block of cement to the next

Report minor pothole damage ArchivedSheppard Ave W & Yonge St North York, Toronto, Ontario, M2N, CAN - TorontoThe concrete crosswalks going east-west on both the south and north side of this intersection have wide gaps at seams in the concrete than are difficult to cross in a mobility scooter and need to be filled with asphalt. They are visibly obvious and as a result I tend to go off the crosswalk and drive on the asphalt to the side of the crosswalk instead, which is NOT really safe, but avoids those gaps in the crosswalks.

Cracked City sidewalk Archived25 Canterbury Place Toronto, Ontario - TorontoThese slabs of the sidewalk are badly cracked and broken and sunk down and virtually back breaking when crossing in a mobility scooter. This image is from a year ago and the situation has gotten even worse in the past year... on the east side of the street north of the fire hall it is clearly visible and needs to be replaced or repaired ASAP.

Report knuckles on Sheppard Ave Archived46 Sheppard Avenue West Toronto, Ontario - TorontoOne knuckle in the bus stop just west of Beecroft for westbound buses on Sheppard and another knuckle at the eastern end of the left turn lane for cars trying to turn left to go northbound on Beecroft. This latter knuckle runs north-south at the join of the turn lane to Beecroft, and is quite annoying. It is not in the center of the land running east west but at the end of the lane running north south.

Report sidewalk damage Archived10 Elmhurst Ave North York, Toronto, Ontario - TorontoTwo of the worst degradation spots on the sidewalk on the south side of Elmhurst Avenue by the city parking lot that make driving a mobility scooter over this sidewalk bone jarring. There are a number of other 'joints' where there is a bump up or down between 33 Elmhurst and the corner at Yonge Street that could use an asphalt patch or some new jackhammer and added concrete to make them smooth to drive over.

Report sidewalk uneven and bumpy Archived33 Elmhurst Ave North York, ON M2N 6G8, Canada - TorontoAs we drive up and down Yonge Street sidewalks on both sides of the street the uneven settling of the various concrete slabs results in a bumpy ride as we cross over many of the seams between slabs. The same applies on Beecroft as well as the east-west sidewalks in betweeen. Also the 'ramps' at the corners are often bumpy on their own, due to settling of the asphalt on the road side of the ramp leaving a drop between the ramp and the road itself. Overall it is uncomfortable to use the sidewalks and in addition the pushbuttons for the traffic lights are often not easy to reach if one is in a mobility scooter. None of this is obvious to anyone NOT using such a scooter to get around the area.

Post to Neighbors Archived7028 Yonge Street Vaughan, Ontario - VaughanIf you look at the telephone pole 2nd north from Steeles on the west side of Yonge St., in front of the Taco Bell and just north of the bus stop, you will find an uncovered box with wires going every which way on the side of the pole opposite the actual roadway. It is the telephone pole with the red light camera sign on it, so you cannot miss the pole.

Graffiti on a City sidewalk Archived48 Sheppard Ave W North York, ON M2N 1M2, Canada - TorontoThe graffiti is obvious in the photo. The brickwork around that location is definitely uneven and could trip individuals easily as well.

Report minor pothole damage ArchivedSoutheast Corner Cummer Ave at Yonge St, Toronto, Ontario - TorontoThe knuckle is obvious and in the right hand lane just south of @#$% on Yonge St for busses heading north from the Finch station.
-
Report minor road damage ArchivedNorth East Corner Of Sheppard Ave W And Bathurst St toronto, ontario - TorontoThe weight of the buses has caused the pavement to form a rather high knuckle in front of the Royal Bank at the bus stop for westbound buses on the north east corner of the intersection, which could cause a cyclist or motorcyclist to have an accident, or a smaller car to lose control at night when the knuckle is hard to see. I was not in a position where I could get out of my car to take a photo but the knuckle is impossible to miss.

Graffiti on a City road Archived945-1009 Sheppard Avenue West Toronto, Ontario - TorontoThere is a sign telling eastbound traffic that the intersection of Wilson Heights and Sheppard will be under construction of some sort between April and June of 2014... Since we are now in October, this sign should be removed. I do not know if there is another one for westbound traffic east of that intersection, but if there is it too should be removed.

Graffiti on a City road ArchivedBeecroft Road Toronto, Ontario - TorontoThere was an event that closed Beecroft on Sept 20 from 4AM to Noon and there are a number of orange signs on both sides of the road from Sheppard to Finch and they should now have been removed as the event is now over. There is no other category for this on the list of choices, so I have selected this one.

4930 Yonge St Toronto, Ontario - TorontoThe newspaper boxes are chained to a rusted out bar arrangement which is completely rusted through leaving sharp rusted edges. Who is responsible for fixing this? It is between the sidewalk and Yonge Street in an ashphalt paved area.
