Barbara Seaver, New Gloucester town clerk, says the town accidentally brought out a wrong box of ballots on Election Day, but that the problem was corrected quickly and that none of the incorrect ballots were distributed. "Everything is in our vault, and one box had been moved and it was next to the new ballots," Seaver told the Bangor Daily News. "We have to keep the old ballots for 22 months."

Seaver said a few voters were asked to wait for approximately five minutes, and that one voter was upset.

"No one has marked any of the wrong ballots," Seaver said.
