Closed Weigh Stations ArchivedRest Area New Baltimore, MI 48047, USA - Chesterfield TownshipI-94 at approximately mile marker 245.5 has 2 abandoned weigh stations, one for each direction of travel. The buildings were removed 15 or 20 years ago. Last year when I counted, the state had 13 signs that either announced the weigh stations or stated that they were closed. With the lack of truck stops and available truck parking between Port Huron and Detroit, these areas should be paved for commercial truck parking.

Traffic Signal difficult to see Archived24701 N River Rd Mt Clemens, MI 48043, USA - Harrison TownshipWhen traveling North River Road from Mount Clemens, the 2nd traffic signal (at westbound I-94 exit/entrance ramps) is very difficult to see. Drivers have to look up while virtually underneath the signal to see which light is lit. The added light diffusers are basically worthless, and only serve to diminish the effectiveness of the traffic signal for drivers traveling outbound on North River Road.
