Sewer line backup - we are just back in our house from hurricane Idalia flooding and toilet and shower are backing up. Lines likely clogged from flood.

We received no rain that day, but water was pushed up on the street in large quantities due to high tide and wind.

When will this area of Shore Acres have any work done to mitigate flooding?

Can you please confirm when the road will be repaved in our street? I believe all sewer work has been completed as there have been no crews here to work in over 2 weeks and the hole is now filled in with dirt and gravel.

Looks like storm water drain cover has been knocked off level and may be inhibiting water from draining properly

Very large and deep potholes from recent rains. Large enough to damage a car if hit without realizing they are there (like when they are flooded)

Sewer line backup?

Sewer line will not drain out of house. I have a plummer coming to check my line but would like to have the main line checked at my connection point

Possible Sewer backup?
The water in my toilet started bubbling. My neighbor has informed me of similar situation at her house next door as well. Could there be a backup in the Sewer line?

not enough drains up and down street to carry water away fast enough.
tide is going out, this should not be an issue. need larger drain pipes and more of them.

Our newly repaired drain in front of 2075 Bayou Grande Blvd NE seemed to be handling the strong rains. Then it suddenly slowed down considerably. This storm was during an exiting tide (its 11pm, low tide is at 2am) so it should have kept flowing. It looks like water was only going down in the very left corner of the drain so maybe it clogged or the flap that is supposed to keep water from coming onto the street stopped working properly and wouldn't let the water down the pipe. May need a line cleaning crew out to check out if there is another blockage.

Looking for special pick up for a wine fridge that was damaged in the flooding from Hurricane Eta.

This picture of flooding is from 3/18/21, and it happened BEFORE it started to rain. This is one of the same drains that didn't drain properly and caused mass flooding in Shore Acres in November during Tropical Storm ETA. This drain needs to be examined for clogging, and something needs to be done to help it drain out properly so water doesn't back up into the streets.
