The condition of this vacant lot has long been an eyesore and nuisance. Currently the weeds are nearing knee high, high enough to even block the for sale sign! The worst is right along the street. This lot condition has been reported numerous times and, if my memory is correct, once maybe twice have the grass/weeds been attended to - maybe during two years time?

Yesterday in the wee hours of the morning, an old, leaning oak tree on this property laid over from its roots, making Oak Grove Circle impassable and filling two yards with major limbs and debris. The City did its part in clearing the street and the two yards have been cleared ( at my personal expense) but cable/fiber/phone damage is extensive; repair may take days/weeks. The remainder of the tree is lying in the lot, roots upended. What can be done to get that removed?

    Thank you.

The new owners of this property have not maintained the lot since tearing down the house; the weeds are feet-tall and are an eye-sore as well as conducive to insects and other pests. There is also a concentration of junk/debris that was dumped on the property months ago. The City issued a Public Nuisance Violation: Code 12-6001-4 on 6/8/2016 but we are now over 60 days with no action taken by the city or the owner even with the abatement being filed twice.
