We need an increase in traffic monitoring/speed bumps or something similar on this street to control the speed of through traffic. Motorists speed unbelievably fast down this street at all hours of the day, many people I can deduce are cutting through. This is incredibly dangerous as well as a nuisance. Because there are no sidewalks on this street, there is also a lot of pedestrian traffic making the speeding motorists even more dangerous to those walking down the road. This is a family, residential street with children, elderly and pets and the speeding drivers should not be tolerated and overlooked by the city. This needs to be addressed.
  • 1153 North Main Street Brockton, Massachusetts - Ward 7
Across the street from 1150 North Main street, on the sidewalk on the northbound side of North Main street just north of Wilder Street next to the fire hydrant there has been shattered glass for a couple of weeks now. The pieces are extremely large and extremely sharp, and it takes up an entire sidewalk cement block.

The yard at 38 wilder street needs to be cleared of leaves. No one ever came to clean the property in the fall, and all of the leaves and debris from this property are flying throughout the neighborhood yards.
Additionally, someone came last week and dropped off what appears to be garbage or an appliance and just left it in the driveway. I believe this is a code enforcement violation, and it should be removed.

Grass is overgrown again - can't the mortgage company do something about this without me repeatedly reporting it?
  • Dw Field Parkway Brockton, Massachusetts - Ward 7
there is still improper signage on the DW field parkway and that wrong way drivers are a huge problem - I have almost been struck by a vehicle too many times to count. I will keep reporting this until signage is up to par. The avon side is probably the worst.

lots of garbage in the backyard, grass is getting overgrown again
  • D W Field East Parkway Avon Massachusetts - Ward 7
I had commented over a month ago on the lack of proper signage on the DW Field parkway and how it has lead to an alarming number of wrong way drivers. I got a response that 5 new signs were put up (I counted 2 in person, and I walk the total parkway top to bottom almost every day) and that many more would be going in in the coming weeks. I have seen zero since then. There should be proper signage - "One way" and "wrong way" signs on both the Brockton and Avon sides. I have almost been hit by wrong way drivers several times in the past month again.

grass is getting out of control again. I can't mow this lawn all summer again.
  • 38 Wilder St Brockton, Massachusetts - Ward 7
This property has been reported multiple times by neighbors - the grass is already overgrowing and it is not being taken care of. We (neighbors) did more than our fair share of mowing their lawn last year to keep it looking partially decent. Let's get this cleaned up, consistently!!

There are too many wrong-way drivers on the pedestrian side. This is dangerous. There should be clear and proper signage all along the parkway to make this safe for pedestrians

The property at 38 wilder street is a vacant building. While there is much damage to the home, there is an American Flag in the back yard which is greatly damaged after never having been lowered/stored for who knows how long. I feel that it would be respectful to have the dilapidated flag taken down and properly removed.
