    Lights are set to prioritize cross traffic (Steffan) over the main traffic of Georgia St. Lights remain green for Steffan for 15 to 20 seconds even though no traffic on Steffan. I’ve reported this issue multiple times since 2015, it gets fixed then gets changed back.

    Large fifth wheel trailer parked on Georgia St. near the corner of Maple & Georgia St. Creates a hazard for homes because view of traffic is blocked by this trailer. Backing out driveways on this street is dangerous enough when conditions are normal. Traffic speeds through intersection. Contacted VPD about a week ago and no answer back.

    I have submitted this same issue a few times over the last two years. The traffic moving east and west on Georgia is the main thoroughfare. Steffan St. is just a cross street. Why the lights are set for Steffan St. to have immediate access is hard to understand. Traveling either west or east on Georgia means having to wait for a considerable time while the lights cycle for Steffan traffic. Even after all traffic from Steffan clears the intersection, the lights remain red for east/west traffic on Georgia for at least 15-20 seconds. No traffic is seen on Steffan during this wait. In addition, as soon as Georgia traffic clears the intersection, if there is a car on Steffan waiting to cross, the lights change immediately to yellow on the east/west direction of Georgia. Very frustrating.

    This is the sidewalk fronting the PG&E easement on Georgia St. between Maple & Oakwood (looking east). The dirt & weeds have encroached onto the sidewalk, making it difficult for two people to walk side by side.
