I was wanting to reopen Ticket 518590 as nothing has been done to this location since it was first reported. Now that the Public Nuisance deadline has come and gone, I would like to know how soon till this location will be cleaned up. While the owner continues to be delinquent, neighbors continue to have to deal with the drug use, litter, vermin, and inaccessibility to sidewalks located on their property.

Also, how many times must a location be reported before harsher action is taken? People have been reporting this location for over a year with no real response. Cleanup has only occurred after being reported and does not occur again until another report is filed.

The crosswalk lights at the intersection of South Bloodworth and East Lenoir St. are not synced to the Traffic Lights. When crossing Bloodworth, the Traffic Lights will change even when the Crosswalk says you have 6 seconds to cross the street. Please get these synced.

I have reported this house 3 seperate times; tickets 178144, 203224, and 209419. This house continues to be a problem and an eyesore on the community. The grass, trees and bushes continue to cover the sidewalks and create hazards when walking down the street. Broken bottles from trespassers who drink on the property litter the sidewalks and yard. and even with No Trespassing signs posted, drug use continues to be rampant. It would be nice if the owner took some responsibility for his property.

    Referring to Issue 203224.
When closing this issue, you stated:
Our inspector has initiated a public nuisance case with a deadline of Jul. 19. The inspector will follow up until the issue is cleared.
Since it is now June 23rd and nothing has been done at this property, can you provide an update or next steps?

I reported this house on April 25th under issue 178144. The grass was mowed and trash and bottles were somewhat picked up. Since then, NOTHING has been done to continue the upkeep on this property. Therefore, I am reopening the issue. Please let the home owner know that I will continue filing complaints until they become a RESPONSIBLE HOMEOWNER like all their neighbors.

The house at the corner of East St. and Bloodworth is a vacant and continually has overgrown sidewalks that make it difficult and dangerous for anyone walking on East or Bloodworth St. To add to the danger of walking here, there are broken liquor and beer bottles constantly strewn over the sidewalk. I have also noticed recently Shaw University students doing drugs behind the house in the backyard and on steps on the side of the house since the overgrowth shields them from being seen. Please take care of this immediately
