  • 150-152 Saint Clair Avenue West Toronto, Ontario - Toronto

I believe there's already an open service request on this, as I reported it last year and the tree was marked with orange paint. But then the ice storm came along, and I think perhaps this tree has been forgotten.

It is the middle one of three maples running in a line along St. Clair W. in Amsterdam Square Park. It's in bad condition and needs to be replaced.

  • 401 Bayview Avenue Toronto, Ontario - Toronto
Southbound on Bayview extension approaching Nesbitt Dr., there is a "Prepare to Stop When Lights Flashing" sign that is substantially obscured by tree branches.
  • 3815 Victoria Park Avenue Toronto, Ontario - Toronto
    Tripping hazard reported via toronto.ca/311
  • 2-12 Saint Clair Avenue East Toronto, Ontario - Toronto
The sidewalks at the northeast and northwest corners of the intersection have been spray-painted with some sort of commercial advertising logo. Please remove the paint and charge the cost to the company that defaced public property for private commercial gain.
  • 2 Saint Clair Avenue West Toronto, Ontario - Toronto
The east-west crosswalk on the north side of the intersection of St. Clair & Yonge is formed of square concrete tiles. At the west end of the crosswalk, a large section of the tiles has sunk unevenly below the road surface, making a couple of tripping hazards.
  • 2577 Victoria Park Avenue Scarborough, Ontario - Toronto
The east-west crosswalk on the south side of the intersection of Vic Park and Sheppard contains a deep pothole just west of the median. It would be very easy for a pedestrian's foot or a stroller wheel to fall into the hole and cause injury.
  • 1 Sparks Avenue Toronto, Ontario - Toronto
The stop sign for westbound traffic on Sparks at Gordon Baker is lying flat on the ground -- likely hit by a vehicle.
  • 61-63 Saint Clair Avenue West Toronto, Ontario - Toronto
The two driveways at this location on the south side of the street are not well marked from a pedestrian point of view. Eastbound, the sidewalk changes from concrete to brick pavers; westbound, the brick pavers are continuous. Either way, there is no curb to step over and people don't even realize it's a signalled intersection. A few months ago, painted lines were added that delineated the pedestrian crosswalk and helped alert drivers and pedestrians. Those lines are now almost completely worn off, and the hazard is back.
  • 525-575 Avenue Road Toronto, Ontario - Toronto

Every single weekend, a whole bunch of temporary A-frame signs are erected on the corners of the intersection of St. Clair W. and Avenue Road. These signs advertise various condo developments. The signs:
    - do not display a permit number (and therefore probably don't have a permit)
    - are located on public property (parks) and often block the sidewalks
    - are located nowhere near the business they advertise
    - are located in the sight triangles extending 15 metres from the intersection of two major thoroughfares, presenting a hazard to drivers and pedestrians

I believe theses signs are illegal for all of the reasons listed above. Please refer to 311 folder 12 135899 dating from more than a year ago.
