Traffic/Street Signs: Report Problem ArchivedStarr Farm Road Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricDrivers leaving the Starr Farm Gardens to do not appear to stop and yield to oncoming traffic when taking a left onto Starr Farm Rd. Frequently drivers will stop, pull forward to see, but do not yield to oncoming traffic. I don't get it.
There is currently a stop sign but it is about 10 ft from the intersection. Can we paint a stop line, move the stop sign up? Something? -

1 Grant Street Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
When traveling south on Elmwood you encounter Do Not Enter where Elmwood is one way (Northbound), forcing the driver to turn East onto Grant St. If traveling North on Elmwood you can continue without an issue.
Encountered a situation where 3 vehicles and a cyclist came to the intersection at the same time. No one knew who had the right of way, everyone stopped. We all made it out ok, but it didn't flow well. Can we put a yield sign for those traveling south on Elmwood to yield to northbound traffic, or a stop sign for those traveling north on Elmwood. Its a confusing intersection. Thanks

71 South Union Street Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricWho's responsible for this? No sign indicating a grade change or dip. Only one cone. There is roughly a 2 inch discrepancy in the road surface. Hit this last night drive 25 mph. Wheels are not bent, but still evaluating the car for alignment and/or wheel balance issues. Please address.

Sidewalk Archived56 Curtis Ave Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
DPW is probably aware of this, but thought Id bring it to your attention before winter. The sidewalk plow tends to hit this pretty hard when traveling NW and would hate to have it broken down.
Also the yellow paint does very little to help the visually impaired.

Stop line Acknowledged2-36 Plattsburg Avenue Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricCan DPW please consider moving the stop line back on Plattsburg Ave for vehicles turning left onto North Ave. When traveling south on North Ave and turning left onto Plattsburg Ave, the vehicles are very close, but even worse when they overshoot the stop line. Thank you.

Wrong way cyclists. Archived254-266 Main Street Burlington, Vermont - Burlington ElectricNorth Union is one way. 3 times this week I have seen cyclists traveling the wrong way, southbound. Twice at the intersection with main, continuing South, as I am turning North. I have seen the signs on North Ave informing cyclists they are traveling the wrong way. Can we add signs to North Union?

Other ArchivedBurlington Burlington , VT - Burlington ElectricFor Rob Green at DPW,
Can the City please consider yard waste and debris pickup twice a year, at minimum. Most city municipalities pick up yard debris throughout the year. It would be great to have a yard debris pick up the same time as Green Up Day. May prevent illegal dumping in the City's woods and keep a lot of yard waste from entering the storm water system too.
Thank you -

Spring leaf/yard debris pick-up? ArchivedBurlington Vermont - Burlington ElectricGeneral question for who ever can answer it.
Has the City ever considered a yard debris pick up in the Spring? Coordinating a yard debris pick-up around the time of street sweeping or green up day could potentially reduce the amount of debris being washed into storm water catch basins, help out property owners, as well as clean up Burlington.
Thank you. -
