Over the past months there were multiple instances of digging and burying cable in the right-of-way in our front year. As far as I know, there has not been any activity recently. However, there is now a about a 5-ft long, 1 1/2-inch wide slit with a cable loop jutting up out of it. We fear someone catching their foot on it or someone unaware running a mower over it. Not sure what cable it is; it seems flatter than a phone or cable tv cable. It can be easily be seen by looking about 6 ft. from the curb about where the mailbox at 613 Ortega stands. It's in the grass and not in the bushes around the mailbox. thanks.
