  • Neuse River Greenway Mile Marker 13½, Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District C
One of the boards running horizontally on the bridge at about shoulder level is warped and has come loose from the bridge railing. It's sticking out into the walkway, and is hard to see, so someone might run into it. At the moment, it's not very far into the walkway, but it might get worse, either due to more weathering or to vandalism.
  • 3005 Skycrest Drive Raleigh, NC 27604, USA - Raleigh Council District B

Missing speed limit sign on Skycrest eastbound. The speed drops from 45 to 35 at Brentwood when the road changes from Raleigh
Boulevard to Skycrest. There is no sign showing this until after Hill St.

The westbound side does have the appropriate signs, showing the speed staying at 35.

  • Neuse River Trail Between 13½ And 13¾ Raleigh, NC - Raleigh Council District C

The fence at the bottom of the spur from the parking area at Abingdon Lane has some minor damage to its rails.

This is just south of the suspension bridge at mile marker 13½. The damage is on the middle rail, 6th in from the South side of the fence.

This is the same damage as reported in issue #645244, that Parks & Rec staff were apparently unable to find, so I've given more detail.

It's not enough for the rail to necessarily need replacing, but if the fence can be damaged by rain on the inside of the rail, that is a potential problem.

The water coming from the water fountains at the restrooms near the small shelter in Anderson Point Park is hot. Not ambient temperature, but hotter than the water from the Ladies' room. In fact, I got cooler water from trying to use the hot water in the Ladies' room sink.
