This is on Madison Street near the corner of Montgomery Street in New York City, NY 10002, on the west side of the street, I was walking south as I came upon this and I stopped to get a picture to send in to SeeClickFix. The M22 Bus stop is just before it, I am pass the bus stop and is what the sidewalk is like and it has been that ways for all of the four years I lived in the neighborhood. I tripped on it more than once. Thankfully I never hit the ground. I kicked it, hurt my foot, stumbled, but caught my balance and was able to continue to walk on.
