Description

Westbound traffic signal on Old Louisburg Rd. timing needs to be changed. It is too quick to turn back to red, allowing sometimes for only 2-3 cars to get through safely (without running the red light). I've had to sit through sometimes 2 full lights to get through because only 2-3 cars can get through in time. The wait between green lights is several minutes. When you combine this with distracted drivers who don't realize the light has changed right away, it can be frustrating and causes backups.

also asked...
Q. What is the type of signal?
A. Vehicular
Q. Please describe the nature of the issue. (i.e timing, signal head twisted, etc)
A. When traveling westbound, the traffic light at Old Louisburg road can be very short for turning onto Atlantic Ave, sometimes only 2-3 cars can get through even though there is a line of more than 6
