Description

Someone (or more than one person) is driving recklessly and keeps hitting parked cars. My parked car has been hit in/near this intersection three times in the past two years. (Once it was totaled.) One of the people in one of the two-family houses across the street said every single adult living in that building had had their parked car hit. No notes left. Another resident on the street had their parked car totaled as well. The car that totaled my old car was grey/silver, since it left debris on the ground. Marinello Terrace is two blocks long; one end intersects with Delaware and the other end of the street is a dead end. The intersection of Marinello and Summit is in the middle. The car that totaled my car was driving out of the dead end area. Someone else on the block heard a rumor that a BMW that parks in the dead end area drives really fast and habitually ignores the stop sign. Maybe that's accurate, maybe it isn't, but there's been at least 8 incidents of collisions with parked cars in the past 2-3 years, maybe more. Can the city install a camera or keep watch? A lot of times the collisions happen overnight.
