This building is in a residential area and we already have a homeless shelter across the street on Cobbs Creek Pkwy.There are senior citizen on the 62nd block of Ludlow St. that can't make it to the zoning hearing on Weds. March 9th @ 2:00 pm 1515Arch St. Rm. 18002 for obvious reasons and don't wish to have this facility on our street.Can You Help Us...........

I believe there's another shelter or halfway house less than a block up 63rd, right near Arch Street. So, there will be three. I'm not sure why there'll be so many in such a small area, but it technically is residential property. Not homes, though, like the rest of Cobbs Creek, so I understand what you mean.
Believe it or not, though, halfway houses don't drive up crime in the area. I mean, people are pretty much on their best behavior because their only other options are going back to prison or back to the streets.
