Description
Center Street is a public street where many residents do not have driveways.
Photo 1: Rear view of 24 Broadway Rock garden encroaching on public way so cars do not park in front of their property
Photo 2: Landrover parked right against privet hedge on rear of 22 Broadway -- as you can see due to the encroaching hedge there is not enough room for work trucks, landscape trailers, or larger commercial vehicles to pass through. This results in either the trucks trying to squeeze through potentially causing damage to vehicle or to the fence at 18 and 20 Center street -- or the trucks have elected to try to back up Center street which is a potential danger not only to property along center street but also the children who typically run, bike and play along this road
Photo 3: This is the rear of 22 Broadway -- the hedge in question. The property line extends along the edge of the house. You can see this privet over time is now 24 inches or more into public way -- again causing parking problems.
Thank you for your attention in this matter

Another pic of the encroachment -- the edge of the property line should be approx 4" from the outside of this fence -- you can see the rock garden extends well beyond that -- the hedge in question to the south is wide enough to now obscure nearly 1/2 the width of my F250 thereby pushing any car parking so far into the road that larger vehicles cannot pass through ---
We on Center Street will look forward to hearing updates as this issue moves forward -- Thank you

This needs to be fixed, if the car is parked and block the road will that get this done?
This is a serious issue for all. DPW get the ball rolling and make this corrected before others abuse it

Contact planning, go to the BOS meeting for public comment and raise it there, go to the rights and ways meetings. Call Libby EVERYDAY.
YOU Need to push it along to get somewhere, or just park on top the outcrop
