Description

There are several sections of the sidewalk just above the House Creek Greeway on the South side of Horton Street with tripping hazards.

I've referred this to our Public Works Department. When the staff has had a chance to respond I’ll post an update. Thanks for reporting.

This Street has not been accepted by the City of Raleigh so we are unable to make any repairs. The developer would need to correct any issues.

Recheck -- Horton street from Lake Boone Trail, to Ridge Road services The Palms Apts, Martin Middle School, and numerous residences.

The greenway parking lot has been added for access.

I'm sure the sidewalk issues are on old existing work. Walks have been in place for 20 + years.

I walked down there yesterday and the sections of the walk were marked for replacement, most likely by city of Raleigh staff. (Orange dot with white markings.) Communications with the person who closed the issue must have gotten crossed up. The sidewalk is on Horton St, not part of the Palms from what I can see as it is across the road just above the greenway parking area.

This one was marked for repairs and work order sent to our street crew. We have a long list and the repair may take 4 months. Sorry for the confusion.
