We've begged metro to stop the obnoxious street parking in our neighborhood for years. They refuse. It's dangerous and unsightly for those of us that don't have 10-15 people in a "single family home" They even put it in our bylaws but once we became urban taxes and metro took over our streets it's excessive and HOA management says they can't enforce it because they are public streets! Does anyone know how to get them to hear us? Most of the neighborhood can't stand it. My inlaws in Chicago have to call into the police durning holidays and events when they park on the street so they don't get ticketed. Must be nice to have a city care that the neighborhoods stay clean and property values stay up. Thanks for any suggestions.
