Hello,
I used to live in Westchester off of Route 22 in North Salem. I mean this in a good way...I know it is not the responsibility of the residents of a city to fix the pot holes themselves but that might be a solution? Maybe buy a few bags of concrete and fill the hole. I don't know your situation, maybe it would be too dangerous.

I travel Rte. 22 N & S Monday - Friday
I purposely drive in the left lane going north from the Bronx River Pkwy. Last month I had the pleasure of meeting one of those potholes in the right lane. Cost me a tire. Thank goodness I have runflats. Worst stretch of road to drive on despite the beauty around it.
