Description

Currently, on the north Side of Monte Vista Street, there is only one storm drain with a catchment length of roughly four city blocks:
From Glen Ave/Piedmont, down Piedmont ave, then around the corner of Monte Vista and down a block: 810LF
From Kingston/Monte Crista, down Kingston to Monte Vista, and then all the way down Monte Vista: 1150LF

With moderate rain events, this catch basin is easily overwhelmed and it floods over the crown of the street and into the garages of the houses across Monte Vista. It would be great if an additional drain could be added to release the pressure on this overtaxed one as it is currently draining more than 2000lf of curb length. Thank you.
