Inspector needed to explain why is a pipe coming out from the basement onto the street draining.

Please be advised that a JCMUA inspector responded and reported that the JCMUA's sewer is running with no issues. Homeowner is currently waiting for his plumber to snake his sewer lateral to remove the blockage

This is an ongoing issue ,when will this be fixed?

This is the first that the JCMUA has responded to this location for the problem. if know that this is an on going problem and you have documentation then the Health Dept. or Plumbing Dept. should be contacted to issue the property owner a Notice of Violation

Here at the RRC we write what the resident explains to us. The residents are upset due to this issue being ongoing .You have heard only once .the cause for that was the resident stated they spoke to him and he stated he was going to get a plumber and have it fixed and he did not have it fixed. I did explain to the resident to call all the times this happens. I will call the Health Dept.

This complaint will stay open until it gets fixed.

I will send it to the plumbing Dept.

I need an update on this ,so I can be able to close it or proceed with actions available..
