Our Spring pavement marking season has not yet started - we are unable to stripe the road until overnight temperatures regularly exceed 50 degrees. This location is a top priority for work and will be taken care within the next 3-4 weeks.

Residents would like issues which haven't been resolved to remain open, as is considered best practice for ticketing systems. Marking an issue as closed is the same as marking it as fixed, and this problem has not been fixed.

If god forbids something happens on this stretch, lawyers will have plenty of evidence to sue the city for negligence.

They closed my issues on this topic several times and ignored my requests, but I think it is not all lost cause, since we are contributing to the evidence of ignored reports and lack of action.

Again, department policy is that these be closed once they have been added to the striping work order list. Given that line striping is seasonal work, many of these reports come in during the winter and early Spring months when they can not be resolved. This work is a top priority for the department in the coming weeks, and will be completed as part of the first work order for overnight line striping.
