Hi DPW: I suspect this is part of the infrastructure work to allow storm water to soak into the ground instead of the drainage system. Sounds like a great idea! Hopefully the potholes will be filled soon? They are hard to identify and negotiate, especially when there are puddles (which, granted, hasn't been the case much recently, but probably will as the season changes). Thanks.
