Issue acknowledged - assigning to Water Division.

Several times I have walked in that area and had wondered if something had died or if somebody's trash had been left out for a week before realizing it was the standing water. While not an emergency, I do hope some thought will be paid to this issue next time this area is paved.

I believe this issue has been brought to DPWs attention before. Please fix!

“Thank you, as mentioned this issue of ponding water has been previously reported to DPW. We are working on collecting necessary street and infrastructure data to review all alternatives to address the ponding water. In addition our solution will need to consider the recently submitted traffic calming request from this neighborhood which could allow for green ways to address the ponding water vs. only adding this water to our collection system.

What are the residents of Booth Street supposed to do in the mean time?

This issue was recategorized from Other to Capital improvements and long-term projects.

This project is on schedule to be addressed in the spring of 2018. Drainage improvements will be installed in collaboration with traffic calming features. I am closing the issue at this time.

The Department of Public Works has resolved this request. Thanks for helping to keep Burlington a great place to live and work.
