Description

Heading both east and west bound on Brookland Park Blvd. at Chamberlayne Ave, it appears the pedestrian crossing signals are not working (or at least not working reliably). On Sunday, my family and I pressed the pedestrian crossing buttons (we were careful to read the signs and press the proper button for the direction we were crossing), but after waiting through at least two complete cycles of light changes at the intersection, the "walk" sign never appeared (we pressed the button multiple times). The same thing happened on our return going in the opposite direction.

Please fix this ASAP, as there is no safe way for pedestrians to cross that intersection (particularly when walking with strollers or small children).

Thank you.
