Recology San Mateo County has received notification of this issue. It is registered as service request # 12934430. It will be picked up on 10/07/15. We are unable to service any Household Hazardous Waste and/or Construction and Demolition material. Those items will be referred back to San Mateo County. This has not been picked up. If this is hazardous waste, who is the agency that picks it up

The normal process for unidentified Hazardous Waste is to contact the Fire Department and they will determine what the substance is and if it is safe for our road crew to pick-up. The Fire Department will label the container for a crew to pick-up. If it is not safe they will contact the County Hazmat team to be dispatched to the location.

In this case it is obvious it is used motor oil so I asked Recology to pick this up and they will pick it up on the normal Recycling day. It was scheduled to be picked up by Recology on 10/7/15.

Recology a group was out in NFO on Saturday and the oil is still there please send the truck.

I picked this up myself and took to over to Recology since I had to go there myself. This issue can be closed.
