Description

Encampment is next a major modern SFR housing tract--I believe it's common area for the housing tract or privately owned land. It poses a MAJOR health and safety threat. There are no public utilities or sewer systems. Any fire that breaks out in that area is likely to burn down the adjacent communities. The site is in view from the commercial plaza Kohl's parking lot. Currently, the campers are even encroaching on the malls property. The structures aren't to code in any way and are illegal. The City's code compliance department hasn't done anything to address this issue and are liable for letting this problem get out of control. This encampment has remained for MONTHS on end. Homeoners from all walks of life paid a lot of money for these houses and should not have to endure this encampment. This would not be tolerated in other California cities, and I will drive this point home when election time comes around.
