To report non-functioning meters, there is a telephone number on the meter. Call that number, give the meter number (also found on the meter itself) and describe the nature of the problem. Also note that parking at a non-functioning meter generally doesn't absolve you of a ticket! Lesson learned the hard way! So even with limited street parking, the City would rather you didn't park at a broken meter. On some days, that could rule out a lot of parking spaces downtown!
