Description

A hole that has opened in Richmond Avenue is getting worse. Last year an approximately 8-foot square opening was excavated for sewer repairs. Backfill into the hole has settled, creating an at least 6-inch deep depression in the pavement patch. Now part of the patch has broken, exposing a void beneath the pavement.
