Thank you for using this application to report an issue to the City of Albany. According to city code (§313-47), property owners are responsible for keeping their properties maintained with regards to lawn and litter. DGS staff will inspect the property for any violations. If violations are found, the property owner will be notified and given ten business days to rectify any violations. After ten business days, DGS will re-inspect the property for compliance. If the property is still in violation, DGS will schedule a cleanup of the property and the owner will be billed. Please note that due to the high volume, these requests may take up to two weeks or more for DGS to clean.

I wish the people of Albany would wake up. The people of Troy finally got rid of their useless D leadership. January 1, first order of business from the new mayor was “operation cleanup” (check out all of their progress on the Troy NY facebook page- incredible stuff happening there!) hundreds of dump trucks of trash were hauled out and every street was cleaned. Troy’s economy will thrive under real leadership while Albany will continue to be left in the dust with nothing but trash and crime.
