I can confirm. It is incredibly loud and vibrates my building, which is pretty well constructed. I just measured it at 71 db with my phone, and that is through my windows/walls (which do some sound proofing), and not even at its loudest. The maximum legally allowed in Jersey City is 65 decibels. The city is not doing anything about this, and fining the construction company is not going to solve the problem.

That is not accurate. All week, the construction has consisted of pile driving, starting no later than 7:15 AM
every morning.

Refer to 15968563 since this is the same rhetoric that someone believes this has now become a forum. For the fact valid permits have been issued and the issues about holiday and start times have been corrected and the noises on the construction site is now permitted between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday thru Friday.
Anything contrary to the regulations not being followed will be looked into.

The issue clearly has not been addressed or corrected as pile driving has begun around 7 AM every morning this week. Again, the city chooses to disregard and ignore the continued illegal violations of the construction code.
