This horrible fence was necessary to keep the drug use off the property, but it went up real fast, and probably not with a permit. Zoning states: Styles, materials, and dimensions of the proposed fence shall be compatible with the context of the neighborhood and the use of the property.
The 300 yard contextual fence next door is a clue that there was no permit.

It is no coincidence that this rampant graffiti and drug use is near Burlington’s experiment in building pods for homeless people.
