Summit Avenue has no storm drains, and every rainfall it becomes a stream. Some water is able to make it to the storm drain on Highland Street around the corner, but not before it swamps our yard and takes over a third of the road with a stream that is often too deep to step through. Since Summit is such a popular cut through for people traveling between North Main and Billings who hope to avoid the light in Post Office Square, the lack of drainage here causes cars to speed through and splash this water, or for them to have to drive on the other side of the road for this stretch.
