Description

Since the City of Seattle and SDOT have taken up a water treatment pumping station in the camping space behind our Waterfront Landing Building. These campers have move on to the side walk under the Viaduct between Pike and Pine steps. This forces local residents and tourist to walk in the street. I have now seen several young families with strollers having to negotiate the parking alley dangerously close to moving cars INSTEAD OF WALKING ON THE SAFE SIDEWALK.

The merchants of this area do not need the hardships they are encountering to include unsafe travel in busy streets and alleys, the exit road from the Market Parking lot. Or the public parking one way under the Viaduct between Pine and Pike.

Please ask the SPD to enforce the closed area to camping for the safety of the Tourists and out residents

thank you
Waterfront Landing Resident
