I was just looking at the Complete Streets 2.0 information on the City Website and City Point (Sea St., South Water St.) is not listed as having a submitted application http://www.cityofnewhaven.com/Engineering/completestreets.asp. We had a meeting with Hausladen over the summer and we were told it takes years for a project to be approved. We were told that a traffic study would take place in the fall and nothing has happened yet.

On another note, Olive St. is now the focus for traffic safety...I thought it took years??? I am sorry that a life was lost, but is this what it takes to get the city to take action? We are trying to prevent a serious accident yet nothing seems to be happening? More hot air from the city...
