Ditto. Though as a cyclist and pedestrian, it's been nice to not have to worry about traffic there. I would love to see an all-way stop sign once it reopens....

This bridge project is going into it's 2nd or 3rd year. I see it as another political football like the bridge on State ST, which has been in the works for the past 7 or 8 years.
This is my opinion.

We are waiting for the fabrication of the railing to be completed off-site and delivered. The schedule for delivery is currently Jan 2015.

And for what it's worth "Old Goat," as someone who spends a TON of time in East Rock Park (hiking, running, cycling), it's actually been nice to have East Rock Road closed for awhile. People ran the stop sign there all the time which made it a pretty dangerous intersection. I hope the street/bridge re-opens with an ALL-WAY (that would be THREE-WAY) stop sign! Happy Thanksgiving All...

Well I have heard that the railings for the bridge are in the process of of being made and the bridge should be open sometime in Jan.2015. Yes I think there should be a 3-way stop sign put in place.
