Description

The pedestrian light only displays the number of seconds remaining for the first 2 or 3 seconds. This is very dangerous because someone who arrives at the crosswalk 3 seconds after the light has changed has no idea if they have ample time to cross. People often see the green pedestrian light/symbol and begin to walk, completely unaware that there are only a few seconds left until it will become unsafe.
