Description

My concern is regarding the left hand turn onto 68th ave coming out of Country Club West. This is primarily during the time between 8am and 8:30 am weekday mornings. It is not only the issue of waiting up to 20 minutes for less than 10 vehicles to turn (on our average morning), but more importantly we have noticed that multiple vehicles are now attempting to turn on the yellow light. This will become increasingly dangerous when the intersection becomes icy this winter. There has not been an opportunity for us yet to make the left hand turn During the green light phase. Some motorists are going as far as going straight through the intersection and turning around in the Bear Creek Villas as to get back onto 100th southbound...so that they can make the right hand turn.
Is it possible to put a left turning arrow at this intersection for motorists leaving Country Club West onto 68th? I am hoping that this could potentially avoid collisions at this location this winter. Thank you for your time.
