As it is very late in the season the City will look at installing this in the spring of 2015.
The reason for the delay is that croswalk signage and markings to be enforcable must be installed at the same time. City line painting for ceased for the season as we prepare for winter maintenace activities.

There is another crosswalk just up the trail from this one that needs to be done also. As it gets darker earlier the crosswalk is becoming increasingly more dangerous. Drivers can't see. It would be a great service to the people of the area to have it installed before winter or at least a sign. There are a lot of people using these paths.

We will still have to undertake warrant analysis at these locations prior to installing them. We will review both locations.
