Description
The train tracks over Trousdale Dr are ridiculous. This morning, for example, the road was blocked for at least 30 minutes with a train just sitting there not moving at all. I waited from about 8-8:25 before turning around and looping back to the other side of Trousdale via Elysian Fields and the train was still sitting there and the train hadn't moved an inch. Why are they allowed to do this all the time??

Good morning:
We received your complaint regarding trains blocking Trousdale Drive. Railroads operate under federal rules and regulations so there are some issues which the city has little or no authority. However, we do work with CXS (I assume this is the railroad company in question) so I am sharing this concern with Metro Public Works for their review and assistance.
