To my knowledge there is never parking on the even side of the street

the ban is actually on the odd side. they're putting in new curbs and possibly sidewalks. signs are up now stating no parking on the odd side all week. and this morning we were told we would have no access to our driveway for the day, so either move your car right this second or be stuck. would it have been that difficult to give every house on the street some kind of written notice that this would be happening?

Signs have already been removed. Issue Closed.

Signs are most definitely still up, FYI. Construction on the sidewalk for the even side of the street is still ongoing as well, with cones and tape in front of many of the houses. There won't be an open lane of traffic if street parking is allowed to resume on the odd side while the construction crews are still installing the sidewalks on the other side of the street.
