I brought this up at the CAC meeting that there needed to be left turn signals there and at the Lake Boone Trail/Ridge Rd intersection. Everyone's heads were nodding as these left turns are terrible during rush hour. The problem is on I-440 when there is a huge rush hour backup and everyone exits onto Ridge Road. Thus, the steady stream of annoyed commuters cutting up Ridge Road. When I-440 gets improved, we might see some relief, but that seems doubtful.
Per Public Works, Staff is currently in the process of trying to get a westbound left turn signal. Plans have to be redrawn, certified, and engineering approved before any action in the street can take place. This issue is being addressed. Thanks for your concern with the safe and efficient movement of traffic.
