In addition to the ugliness, which all of us who live on Mariomi and Cheese Spring have to see with every trip, we have been told for a long time that 1) the bridge is dangerous and 2) it will be repaired soon. We also were told that Mariomi was repaved all the way to Valley. It was not. The repaving stops just short of the bridge and serious road deterioration follows to Valley. During the 2010-11 winter months there was a pot hole there large and deep enough to lose a half a wheel in!
