Description
Putnam Avenue is restricted to truck traffic, yet there is a constant flow of trucks starting around 6 in the morning. There seem to be far more trucks than could possibly be making deliveries immediately within this primarily residential area. The street lacks sufficient signage and enforcement.

Buses are allowed on Putnam, but not on Mem Drive. (Cambridge's truck ban doesn't include buses, but the DCR's does.)
The problem is that buses and trucks can't use River Street, because left turns aren't allowed onto Mass Ave in Central Square, and they can't make the tight turn off Green Street.
