Do we have to begin measuring decibels for noise complaints to be taken seriously by the village? The correct response is to dispatch an officer to investigate. 65 decibels is less than the sound of a vacuum cleaner. The sound the concrete mixer was making was exponentially louder.

No person shall create or cause to be emitted any noise which, when measured at any or beyond any lot line of the property on which such noise is being generated in a residential district, exceeds the following standards:

From 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.:
