Description
Usually this happens in the morning when the driver ( who I think lives in the neighborhood) goes to work. It is a furniture delivery truck and the idilng occurs enough to be a nuscience and the noise of the truck is a problem too. Sometimes the truck parks on 60th street, at times on Arch.Record the time of day%2C type of vehicle%2C duration of idling%2C and if you have seen idling at this location before

I have contacted 311 and received advice on how to deal with the situation(call the police). I am trying to avoid a nasty confrontation with this man as I think he lives across the street. I no longer want to breathe the fumes of his truck or hear the loud noise it makes every morning he goes to work. Spring is approaching and I want to be able to open my windows.

I think the owner of the truck parks the truck somewhere else now. I have have reported the truck a number of times to the athorities and this past Monday, April 9, the owner saw me taking down information to give to 311. He had a cell phone in his hand and he started the truck, let it idle for 45 minutes and then drove away. The air management team arrived about 10 minutes to late to cite him. I haven't seen the vehicle since but that doesn't mean it won't be back. They have the information on the truck and I have the numbers to call just in case it does come back.
