Description

The vehicle detection camera pointed down Monroe towards College Ave has repeatedly failed to detect motorcycles and bicycles the last few weeks. This leads to dangerous thoughts about running the red light eventually at this 5 way intersection - especially when it is cold or rainy. Please check if the camera is operating correctly. PS - In Berkeley, they have a pedestrian-height indicator which lights up "BICYCLE DETECTED" to let you know you are actually going to get a traffic cycle - not be waiting forever.
