Mayor Sheehan thanks you for your request and concern but please note that the funds that were previously allocated to repair these stairs have been reallocated for a much needed mural. Pleae be careful and don’t break your ankle on these stairs.

I have consulted JH 217 DGS & JD of DGS Engineering. Both are in agreement that these stairs are not maintained by the City of Albany or DGS. These stairs are maintained by the state & OGS.
Please feel free to contact the Office of General Services for work or repairs you would like seen done to these stairs.
Contacted the original reporter of this SCF and let him know he could contact OGS for repairs and that this SCF would be closed.
