Description

The stop sign controlled intersection of emerald circle and Sereno Dr is very dangerous. Drivers coming westbound do not see the stop sign and often speed right through it at normal speed, if not a rolling stop for those that are familiar with it. There have been several near collision at this location from people pulling off of emerald circle nearly being hit by the drivers on Sereno Dr. New reflective stop signs as well as new reflective caution/warning signs of the stop approaching should be installed. 4 the westbound stop the caution sign is located approximately 100 feet west of the intersection on a wooden telephone pole. This sign is often neglected or not observed by other drivers... Illuminating the sign itself and or putting flashing amber warning lights near it would help tremendously. Of course increased traffic enforcement by the police department at this intersection is needed and would be appreciated as well.
